ROAD TRIP!
When we lived in Massachusetts, my wife was bitc**ng...I mean complaining about never having been to the Ben and Jerry's factory in northern Vermont, just hours away. It was a Saturday and around 1 or 2. I got her and the kids in the jeep and drove the several hours there to get there at closing time. Luckily tey did not shut down the store they sell ice cream at and we were the last ones of the day to buy ice cream. Sat there at one of the tables and ate it and then drove back home the several hours.
Then there was the time she was complaining about ever getting to go to NYC. So at 1pm I packed them in the jeep and drove the 4 hrs. We drove into, through and around, never stopping anywhere, but seeing what we could. It was also dark. Then we drove the 4 hrs back home. Was about a 10-11 hr trip, just to site see from the car. Lol
Both of them were worth the experiences we had.
