Somewhere in the mountains. That's where true camping takes place IMO. Mama Gerties is really nice in Swannanoa just off I-40 before you hit Asheville. Tons of other places around that area. Sycamore Lodge is like going to a timeshare sale. They try to get you to buy into the place and it's 20 minutes from anything. I don't like feeling like I'm at a large car dealership in the middle of a "sale".
