The Upper Missour River is easily run in a canoe. Back around 1999 I took a group of friends for 151 miles from Ft. Benton to Kipp Bridge. We read out of the L&C journal at night and camped in some of the same spots they did. The last 4 days we saw no one. The big horn sheep did not even lift up their heads when we floated by.
