License Plates??
If we purchase a 5th Wheel in FL & have the dealer tow it to a nearby campground where it will remain year around & never be moved, do we have to get license plates? And if so, we live out of state...

Check with the tax collector in the county you will park the trailer. That is the office in Florida that handles titles license etc. I will tell you that park models need to be licensed as they are still considered an rv. You do not pay property tax on the unit only the land if you own the land. You do not qualify as a Florida resident by staying there six months. Again check with the tax collector. They will explain what paper work you need to produce if you decide to change residency to Florida. Also check on insurance requirements for the rv. You may have to show insurance to license it. None of this stuff is hard just takes a phone call then a visit.
