- Winnebago_BobExplorerHow long is long?
- Mountain_MamaExplorerI buy the longest plastic table cloths I can find (90/92"). I buy two, matching & cut one in half lengthwise to use for the benches.
- MurphsmomExplorerJoann Fabrics carries flannel backed vinyl by the yard. I think they also have the unbacked, but it might not be as sturdy.

Not sure about other locations, but in our area we have extra long picnic tables at the USFS campgrounds. Does anyone know where I can buy an extra long picnic table and bench covers?
:h
I am guessing they are 108" - Winnebago_BobExplorerMy DW often has to stagger two identical table cloths to cover some of the longer tables we have here in Washington. Very similar to what Mountain Mama said.
For the benches it's easy because it's just the two of us. We usually sit on older folded blankets to give a cushion for the tush..
Also options here. - OzlanderExplorer

That seems like the obvious solution. :S - the_bear_IIExplorerYou can buy a roll of table cloth (both plastic and paper) at party, cooking, restaurant supply stores or we use a roll of butcher paper. These rolls allowed you to make the table cloth as long (and as wide) as you need. Just roll it out and cut to length. No need to wash just throw it away when done.
We've also used the flannel back fabric available at fabric stores. - wbwoodExplorer
- path1ExplorerWe camp in your area several times a year and some places they also use really thick wood. Last summer DW ordered some "oil cloth". Just cut to the length you need. And some of these http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/table-bungees-2-pack/69829
I wish we would of done so many years ago. She ordered more than I thought we needed but the stuff comes in handy. 1 is about 10 foot long for picnic tables. Extra length just hangs over edge. And 1 piece is for our portable table.
I thought some people found a really thick table cloth and we couldn't find at local fabric stores. Finally asked someone we saw with one. We found out it is called "oil cloth". Folds nice, washable and will last for years. - amandasgrammaExplorerJoann's has "oil cloth" in large bolts. It's what we use. I don't use the flannel backed because it just grabs onto every needle, dirt bit and BUGS. The "oil cloth" is sturdy. It's what my grandmother had on her table....one I think lasted 10 yrs. of daily use.
