We hiked through a nearby State Forest (starts with an "M", has an Indian name and that's all I remember besides the fact that it was restful, had beautiful vistas and we saw a family of pheasants walking through the underbrush, LOL)and wandered into Black Rock SP's campground to take a look see at it's facilities.
It was a Monday, the campsite residents smiled back in acknowledgement for the most part; bathrooms were clean and sites looked well maintained. It was obvious that the weekend had been busy from the amt of discarded Pop-Up canopies in the garbage. What is it about those things that make people go back for more I'll never know; better choices out there but I digress.
We ate our lunch at a picnic table near a small lakeside beach and I noted the park as a place to return to if ever we stayed that close to the MA border again.
I'm sure you can find out readily if it has the type of RV hookups you find important.
