  • That definitely is something to look at. Were I to buy that, I'd probably have the engine, transmission, transfer case, and differentials overhauled. Even if if cost $10k to have the entire drivetrain and suspension taken apart and rebuilt, it would be more than worth it.

New models of those are so insanely expensive that I'd jump on that, if I had the chance.
  • A fine looking, medium size rig with mild upgrades. With the exchange rate the way it is, U.S. buyers could score. @ 94K miles it's probably going to need some drivetrain work. (engine/trans/t. case/u-joints/diffs. new susp. bushings/wheel bearings) One thing for certain is the cost of maintaining a 'true' 4WD anything is at least double the cost of any 2WD. 'True' is not an AWD which with that center diff has less traction and a lot less actual stress on the t. case.
I don't know what the smog laws are in B.C., but importing any gas engine truck is going to be a smog woe in California. Research needed.
    Thanks for the idea anyway.
I run into some great Truck AND camper combos here in CA. on Craigslist. Many are just older people who out-age any desire to climb those steps and are certainly not going off road anymore.
