- TexasShadowExplorer IIThe Oasis RV park gets good reviews here, but is a little pricey for us, so we stay over at Sam's Town RV park. Not on the strip, but they have a shuttle if you don't want to worry about driving and parking on the strip.
No problem with dogs, but it will be hot so you'll need to run the a/c. - 2oldmanExplorer II
- DarrahExplorerThanks for the information....
And yes it does get hot there.
The last time I was there I had the opportunity to stay with friends.
But not on this trip coming up in May. - grouchrcExplorerCircus
circus is now a KOA - missourijanExplorerWe've stayed at Sam's Town on Boulder Highway also. We've also stayed at Las Vegas RV Resort, a short distance from Sam's Town. There's also a very cheap one downtown at the Main Street Casino, just a parking lot with hookups.
- DarrahExplorerThanks everyone!
- HappyCamper89ExplorerWe stayed at Oasis last May and really liked it. It's convenient to the downtown area. They are Passport America members so if you are a member, it's half price. There is a guard at the entrance at night and the place felt very secure. We had read reviews of the lack of security of some of the places on the strip. Glad we chose Oasis. It's a beautiful park.
- Loren_RossExplorerIf you're only looking for a day or two, the Roadrunner is an excellent place to stop. Last year, I stayed there twice. Only $16 a night with full hookups. Price goes up after 2 or 3 days. They want turnover, not full timers. There is a pool and spa too! Spaces are a little cramped, but no biggie to me.
- DarrahExplorerThanks again for all the great ideas on places to stay...
