Mapping where you've camped

As Said, It's Your Map...
Ours covers 42 years of Sailing, Tent Camping, Car Camping, Road Trips (car and motorcycle) and Cruise Ships. It is also incomplete and out of date. I should fix that.

The map in my sig. is out of date. I've actually been in every state in my MH except Washington, Oregon and Hawaii. But I found out that you have to start over every time you update instead of just adding a state to your existing map.
I'll probably never make it to WA. and OR. And HI. is out unless they build a bridge.

Tee hee hee:D We took a 19 day road trip last year and covered 21 states (6,000 miles)... in a truck camper with a 7 year old sleeping 1 foot away. Between the fast pace, and the "human marital relations alarm indicator" sleeping right next to us, we'd have NEVER filled in our RV map if we used this criteria:W

We don't have a map but we do keep either the flyer/ newspaper provided at each provincial/federal park, or brochure from any others.
We also walk around and make note of which campsites we like and what would fit there for future reference.

We decided to use ours for states visited. We don't have to sleep in the state, but it doesn't count for driving through either. We have to do an activity in the state.

I met someone last month that uses his camper map to mark off any state he's visited regardless of how he got there.

For us it's spending a night in one of the RV's we've owned.

Who says my map has to do anything with camping? It is my map of places I've visited, my RV is one of several tools for travel.

We've been RV'ing since 1971. Have visited all states except Hawaii/Alaska. I wish we had kept a log book of each RV park we've stayed at. Must be in the thousands by now.

Only camping
Only current trailer
Had to stay at least one night
Only with current wife (that's my wife's rule)
We don't have a map
You get a map and stick on the places you wish you went, that's OK too.
