Mesa Az resort

Any of the Cal-am resorts are nice. I like Valle Del Oro for its location and easy access to hwy 60. If you Google Cal-Am resorts it will list all of them.

Canyon Vista (Cal-Am park) is tops inn our opinion and one we always stayed at during years past..Good Luck

I live in Gilbert, AZ, next door to Mesa -- The Snowbirds are usually gone by mid April, so you should not have a problem finding a place in any of the many RV parks -- Come on down & enjoy the heat -- Bill Willard

Is highway 277 from Holbrook to Mesa a good road?

All those southern headings from Holbrook or Winslow are fine. There will be a section or two of steep downgrades, but otherwise pretty boring until you hit the national forests.

We have tentatively settled on SUN LIFE resort..Any comments are solicited and welcome.

Yeah, We have taken it numerous times in the last 8 years. you take 277 to Heber and then 260 to Payson. Then 87 (4 lane hwy.) to Mesa. There are some definite UPS & DOWNS, but we do OK hauling 33 foot Travel Trailer with gas 2500 Chev Silverado King Cab.

New plan..we ARE now planning on Mesa Regal.
