Miami Campground
Planning a trip to Miami week after Christmas and would like a recommendations on a good beachfront park. Never been to Miami.

Markham is west of Ft Lauderdale and right on the edge of the everglades. They book up early for the winter months, but you might get a week. If you can't find something there, you may want check Yacht Harbor near the airport. If you get desperate, you can come up to our park near Sebring. They most always have sites available, although you would be about 1 1/2 to 2 hours from the beach. Remember, the last week of December, even in South Florida can be cool, especially at night. Thank you very much....we always plan these Christmas trips in haste but usually end up in great places thanks to this forum. My wife is always ready to go somewhere after trying to accomodate all our adult children's schedules to have a few hours together.....seems to become more stressfull each year.....Yuk!
