Sounds like a letter writing campaign to the guy in charge of the MI-DNR asking him to drop Reserve America needs to be started. In fact we should start one to all the states whose park systems have adopted RA.

Writing to the Michigan DNR won't change anything in Illinois.

Writing to the Illinois DNR might help but the current five year contract still has two years to go.

Good Luck lots of states turned over their operations to RA to save money. The fact is RA can run a multi state call center much cheaper than each state can run their own independent call center using state employees.
In the end the call centers no longer require taxpayer subsidies as they have become a privatized business. The idea is tax payer funds go towards maintaining the park and not call centers.
RA is here to stay. The days of taxpayers subsidies are over.
Taxpayers have more critical things to spend their funds on then call centers. Campers now need to pay their own way.
