Sounds like a letter writing campaign to the guy in charge of the MI-DNR asking him to drop Reserve America needs to be started. In fact we should start one to all the states whose park systems have adopted RA.

Writing to the Michigan DNR won't change anything in Illinois.

Writing to the Illinois DNR might help but the current five year contract still has two years to go.

Flooding the offices with letters does work. Don't give up. RA is costing the states more in both the short and long runs through bungled reservations and outrageous fees. Letter writing campaigns do affect the decision on the pending renewals of contracts.
