I agree state parks are still generally cheaper in my area.
While both are outdoors a state park experience is different from a private CG.
I enjoy them both. Sometimes I want full hook ups, pools etc. other times I prefer larger sites,more privacy,more of nature,trails open space,hiking etc.
It's nice to have choices and differences.
We each have different wants and expectations in the long run.
Luckily we don't all think a like.
What a mundane place that would be!
