Wondering when people are planning on heading back north. Will it be earlier or later than usual? The weather in Canada now suggests not to be in too big a hurry.

We have seen a few winter texans leave, but most are planning later departures which is causing some to have to move to different sites. Normally mid-march is the major launch. For the first time in 7 years we aren't leaving! Staying put till further notice :)

It appears like there is not really any change here in our area. The migration actually started about 2 weeks ago with some, then picked up Fri, Sat and today, the end of the month. The masses will start out in about 2 weeks and the place will be a ghost town by the end of the month. We will be among the last group to leave, when we vacate the first week of April. Most of our park is from the western provinces, with just a couple folks from Quebec and Ontario. Also, most of them take 2 - 3 weeks on the return journey, where we take just 2 easy days.

We are headed north within two weeks. Tulips are already coming up back home and we are looking forward to the trip. We normally stay until 1st April but we came down early to see Bryce and Zion etc before it got cold. So our 6 month time limit in the US before US immigration gives us the heave ho is up within a month. We'll try to avoid that confrontation. :)

We have had 2 or 3 leave, some will leave just before Easter and some feel they have to be home to do income taxes. We will wait until about May 1st and will be nearly last to leave except for those who choose to stay all Summer.

For March:Central & East:CPC NCEP is showing quite below normal temps for the entire Central US from Texas to North Dakota for March. Also, substantially below normal from Virginia to Maine / Delaware to Illinois & terrible (cold) for the entire Northeast new England area for March.West:Well above average temps in March from Arizona north to British Columbia and the entire West Coast....the above from Experimental two-class seasonal forcasts

Forecast here is for 95° today and 98° tomorrow. We're packing this weekend and will be closing up the place Mon or Tue then heading back to the mountains mid week.

Left Crystal River, FL this morning. Overnighting at Deer Run Campground north of Troy, AL right now. Decided to take a side trip to Pine Mountain, GA for 3 days to avoid cold front in MI. Will get home Monday and weather looks to be in a warming trend after the weekend. Gotta pay attention to the weather along the way and adjust if necessary.

This time next week, we will be somewhere between Yuma and Boise. Not in any real big hurry, as it snowed yesterday and is forecast to snow next Monday & Tuesday.

Took the free Texas ferry off of Galveston Island this morning heading north. Wild flowers are out, dolphins where showing off, said goodbye to palms and hello to tree buds, and even had some good BBQ for lunch. Best part of snow birding is being on the road. :B

1we should be back in Michigan by the 12th or so. Every year we learn that home doesn't need us in the early spring but come the end of May, when my DW plants 75 flat of flowers then it is spring!

I left FL on Mar 17, got back to MI on the 19th. Wish I had stayed another 2 weeks!
