Migration north
Wondering when people are planning on heading back north. Will it be earlier or later than usual? The weather in Canada now suggests not to be in too big a hurry.

- The forecast for Friday morning in the RGV:

- Won't leave Cortez, Fl until Saturday May 2nd, we'll hit Myrtle Beach for a week then very slowly head up to New York and the southern end of the Adirondacks, as long as the snow is gone and the temps are rising.
This year it may take the month of May to get home!
Sher - My last TV and trailer only seen a little snow in the Rockies, this new truck will not see snow either if we can. Normally we leave in early April.... this year maybe later.
- Last year a lot left SW Florida April 1st. I could tell it was getting close because Walmart ran out of my brand of Scott's RV butt wipe the end of March!
We thought we would beat the traffic heading north so we waited another few days. Still had traffic, not much toilet paper, and I had to go back into long-britches when we got back to central Illinois. No thanks!
We will leave around the first of May this year. - 18 people pulled out today from here in Central Florida, but 12 new campers arrived. During the month more will leave but most of us will be here until the first of April, then head North. Security cameras at home still show more than a foot of snow still on the ground and as long as I see snow in those cameras I will stay put.
- March 12th seems to be the most popular time to leave where we are for the West Coast Canadians. We came down a bit later so will hook-up for the trip north April 1st.
- We don't mind the weather back home, it's always nice to get back.
The drive home though, that's the problem. There has been a solid band of bad weather across the mid states for the last two months.
