- hipowerExplorerDeparture currently around other commitments will be early to mid November. Destination Lady Lake, FL until about the 10th of April. All dates and travel times are very flexible so we will be in no hurry to get there or get back north. We are on a 6 and 6 plan with our campground so reservations are not a concern.

We sure hope we can figure out someway of affording to head out by the end of November.
FWIW, I know of one Canadian who comes down and buys a slide in camper and hauls it back in the spring to sell. Supposedly the profit pays for the winter. That's all I'm going to say on that, since I'm sure there is more to the story.
I just read last week how the US dollar is strong right now, it didn't even occur to me how quickly that might affect our snowbird neighbors to the north. - Water-BugExplorerWe're Early Birds, leaving here on September 18th. There hasn't been much of a summer here anyhow. Bugs have been worse than normal too. We'll miss the fall colors but this could be oneof those years when it snows befor the leaves fall.

John & Joey, it all adds up quickly. We made a bank to bank transfer yesterday of $5,000 to cover our rent and such in San Benito, Texas. It cost $502.12 Can for the transfer. - Don_in_NiagaraExplorerNot yet! It's gonna be 90 today here in tourist town. Looking forward to next week, 'sposed to be around 70.
