There are more than 50 reasonably priced RV parks in the Mission area alone. Come down and pick a park and stay a week. Drive around and take a look at the others. Mission West even has a low cost Passport America rate for a few days.Here is how I rate them:Bentson Palm Village - May need a reservationGreen Gate Grove (Lots rented by owners)In no particular orderSeven Oaks - Big sites, nice pool, sand burrsMission West – South edge of city and a little rural but some real nice concrete sites.Bentson Grove RV ParkCanyon Lake – North of town, rural feel.Bentson Palm RV Park - Not to be confused with Bentson Palm Village Sleepy Valley - Older but has some shade treesMission Bell has very small sites, busy park with lots going on.Pleasant Valley – Lots of concrete, very clean, many Canada guestsTake a look at www.rvparkreviews.com for more details.

We stayed there one winter and enjoyed it. They allow the use of PPA for 14 consecutive days, but the PPA sites are on the north fence near the RR track, which is not a busy track. They have a decent golf course, plus many other activities. They were installing more wifi towers that year, so wifi should be better now. We liked the rural feel of the area, even though it is not rural by any means. Yes, we will stay there again.

it's a pretty nice park, fairly good size lots and a lot of activities. in previous years they have had some management problems but that seems to have settled down now. there at least a dozen other parks in the immediate area. I would not make reservations, just come down pay for a week and look around at the numerous parks in the area.

We just pulled into the park Saturday. Still very light turn out but I think it its nice park. Wish I could stay all winter, but have to get back to CT. Will be here for a month. The people here right now are friendly. Hope to get to know more of the new people that are coming in, before we have to leave. Nice pad with 50 service.

Mission West RV Park, Texas ??

Has anyone stayed here & if so what are the pro's & con's of this park? Is there another you'd prefer over this one?

We are beginning the full time lifestyle & after the holidays would like to go south for Jan., Feb. & part of March before heading back north.

Very nice park and we have stayed there many times. Good gym, pool, very quiet and they have bikes you can use to ride to the birding center next door. We have always wanted to buy an rv lot next door with a coach house.
