Thinking of planning a few weeks in Missouri and/or Arkansas this fall to try to catch the fall colors. I thought this is a perfect place to ask for suggestions of some of the beautiful places to visit. Would love any feedback you could share. Thanks and best wishes.

Doesn't get much prettier than down around Branson and Tablerock lake the latter part of October. Also any of the bluffs along the current river are spectacular at that time of year.

Arkansas is general wouldn't be hard to find a good spot. We've been to Eureka Springs, Bull Shoals and the Fort Smith area's. It is quite the sight when the tree's start changing. Since you're going in the fall shouldn't be a sauna at least which is a plus!

We love to spend time in the North Central part of Arkansas. The Fall here is beautiful with the leaves turning and the elk and other wildlife seem to "come to life". Below is just a small sampling of the area. Hope this helps!
