- wbwoodExplorerFrom mistletoe, you are 30 minutes + from Augusta without traffic. Add the traffic on Washington road and well there's no telling. Depends on where you will be parking also.

And I'd say that's a typical site too. As you can see, no sardine parking. Caught two 10+lb bass in the lake. - Dennis_HendersoExplorer IIIWe've stayed at Mistletoe SP many times while in that area for the Masters. You will enjoy it there. BTLI Been There, Loved It. The campground is on a peninsula so most of the sites have a good view of the lake and easy access. Great fishing too and they even provide a fish cleaning station. - EycomExplorerJust FYI, there's also four C.O.E. parks in the general area of Missletoe. If you have one, the "geezer" pass with 1/2 price camping offers a great value on Strom Thurmond Lake.
- Ramblin_RecksExplorerYes, we have gone there alot over the last 15 years. Very well kept, they did alot of improvements over the years with crush and run gravel for the majority of the sites. Bath houses are generally clean, real nice boat ramp and dock (when the lake has water, right it is about 9 foot below full pool), marked hiking trails, and excellant fishing.
Only down side, like most GA State Parks, you can not reserve a specific site, so we normally would go on a Thurday to get the site we like for a weekend jaunt.
Enjoy! - kohldadExplorer IIIHave stayed there several times over the last decade. Very nice park as are most of the COE parks in the area.
