- I'm surprised the adiministration didn't fence that off like they did the Vietnam and WWII Memorials.
- We drove a small section of the Cherohala Skyway today and took a side trip over to Bald River falls. The picnic areas were all open and the restrooms were accessible around the Bald River falls area.
Southeast Tennessee is a beautiful place to live! There are so many great national forest campgrounds around here that are now closed though, just like everywhere else.... - We already know about the facilities/cg. The point the article made is one can still drive/ hike in this national park for recreation.
- This article/video does not say that Cherokee National Forest facilities are open: it says that the Cherohala Skyway (which is a TN/NC state road), is open. This is a huge NF and the Skyway is only 54 miles of it. Where you gonna' camp? lizzie
