Myrtle Beach state park
We are planing a trip to Myrtle beach this summer and was wanting to get some feed back on how the state park is there?

- We used to visit Myrtle Beach SP each year on our way south, but switched to Huntington Beach SP a few years ago. Myrtle Beach is fine, but it's much more wooded and thus rather dark. Here are our articles and photos on each:

Ted H. - The park is very nice. The sites are mostly wooded and a little close together. We actually prefer Huntington Beach State Park which is about 10 miles away. Larger sites. You will enjoy Myrtle Beach SP though.
