n.h camp grounds

Hi, Everyone

I don't post much but get a lot of info.from this web site. DW wants to make are first trip into N.H . She was thinking somewhere over the MA. border. Has anybody been to the OLD STAGE campground in Madbury/Dover N.H . That's what DW was thinking looked pretty good on the web site. Any help would be great. What would you recommend ?

  • A little further up 16 (exit 17) from Dover is Mi-Te-Jo in Milton. It's a great family campground on Three Ponds. Very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend it. Danforth Bay is nice (we go every year) but pricey. Sorry never been to Old Stagecoach although I've seen them at the camping shows.
  • If you wanted to go 54 miles further north on RT 16 to Freedom you could stay at Danforth Bay. It is a nice resort which has wide roads, heavily wooded very large private sites with full hook ups. You are definitely not on top of your neighbor. We spent five days there four weeks ago. A real nice place
