Naked-eye astronomy is more than just meteors.

Went out to South Carlsbad SB last weekend and used my sky chart for the first time. First night I felt like an idiot trying to use it. Went on the web and read how to use it correctly and a whole new world or should I say universe opened up. Learned about 15 stars that second night. Venus and Mars of course in the evening sky. Bought an adapter for the binoculars, but my tripod is too flimsy and short.
