Naked-eye astronomy is more than just meteors.

We're out at the beach and the big blood red moon rose in the east. Grabbed my binoculars and tripod. Used the tripod as a unipod keeping the leg together. Yes Dan it works. Tripod is too short and had to rest the leg(s) on a table to get the right height. OMG. What a view and so many craters. Going to get one high enough.
