Guess it was traveling about 300 miles a minute or 5 miles a second. Cross the USA in 8 minutes compared to 10 months 150 years ago.

But, you gave it a shot. Like I said, just sit back and enjoy the show. And don't forget the Iridium Flash sats. They only last a minute or so, but hone your ability to spot short term anomalies in the sky.
