I found Profdant or Lensatic's trick of using a tripod mount on a stick to help with quick maneuvering works best. I just used my flimsy tripod and didn't spread the legs. Actually bungee corded them together. It sure looked rectangular and almost "H" shaped to me. Another viewing tomorrow night but it's only max height of 18 degrees. It's the 55 degree max that makes it most visible for me.
Would like to see a flyover when at Furnace Creek in Death Valley on a moonless night. So dark, you can't see your feet sitting in a chair. Milky Way standout out big time.
