Unlike the Colorado State Parks pass, the National Parks pass is assigned to the person, not the vehicle. You carry it with you, and it is good no matter what you are driving, and also covers passengers in the vehicle for any federal site that charges entrance fees by vehicle, or up to four adults for a site that charges per person.
