Are you looking for lots of outdoor activities or a nice place to hang out without leaving the RV? We like the state parks in North Carolina, but we do a lot out of the camper and only spend limited time in camp during the day. Stone Mountain is quite nice, as is South Mountains, and you can get some hook-ups (water + electric I believe) There are others as well, but nothing that I know of that has a lot of hook-ups (we don't do commercial RV parks so I can't speak to what's available...)

I may be mistaken but South Mountains State Park doesn't have hookups. Stone Mountain State Park has water/electric and I highly recommend it.
Julian Price is good, but be forwarned the sites are unlevel and some of them small. Als, no hook ups.
