near Dead Horse Point?
Spending a 3-4 days here waiting for clear skies. Anyone in the area? Would like to explore some of the 4wd trails, but not keen on going it alone.

Keep a close eye on the weather as a storm is moving in shortly. Some of the trails get pretty slippery when wet and if you get the snow they are predicting, many will be impassable. Shafer Trail is already closed due to ice and snow on the trail, and that's a relatively easy route.
Assuming you're taking your Ram, you should avoid many of the tougher trails out there -- your truck just won't make it.
