Needles Highway Tunnel/Custer State Park
Hey all can a Dodge Dually fit thru the tunnels on the Needles Highway? without scratches ;)

Yes they do. And no, people don't get upset with slow vehicles in the tunnels. Lots of folks stop near and walk around them anyway.

What he said. I am always amazed at those huge buses with a boatload of people going through. - Tour buses go through the tunnels every day. Don't think I'd try driving one, but they make it with inches or an inch to spare.

That fast? We went through last spring. It's an amazing experience, particularly the tunnel headed toward the Eye of the Needle. Nobody is

The state park descriptions of the tunnels are meant to be minimal to keep out the uninformed. Overhead room is the issue, not width.

I'm guessing nobody gets too angry if you are going 5mph through the tunnel so you don't destroy your truck?- Thousands of dually trucks go through the needles tunnels every year without trouble. It wont be roomy, but if your mirrors fit, and they will, so will the truck.
The state park descriptions of the tunnels are meant to be minimal to keep out the uninformed. Overhead room is the issue, not width.
