We're active 60-ish couple with tiny dog renting a 30' motor home from NJ in mid-May, 10 days. Any tips on getting to, and staying in, Cape Cod MA? Are dogs allowed on beaches in May? Would love to rent kayaks. Thinking of bringing our bicycles--any big hills? Want a campground that's CLEAN, well-tended, near ocean or bay (no lakes). Conversely, any campground we should AVOID? We are very excited about this adventure! Your advice is greatly appreciated.
have 2 choices....in Dennisport...can go to campers havenCampers Haven.....ask for sites in front row, which is right across the street from the ocean...roads flat, can bike..but not bike trails...OR....
Atlantic Oaks...closer to Provicetown...5 minute drive to National Seashore park on the ocean.....it is also on the bike trail that goes all the way to PT....and is maybea 15 minute bike ride to above park
both are great places to stay , close to good food
