have not spoken with Shaw for awhile. We have service to the house(since 1998) and we also have a receiver in the 5'er. The vin number of the 5'er is registered with Shaw as our cottage in Arizona. We only have ONE account. We do not put the acct. on suspension during the winter, since we use the satellite in Arizona.Have never had a problem with their service or customer service department.We view our billing online. Seems a bit of misinformation is going around. We have the 75cm dish in Arizona, but the TV in the 5'er is not HD. So we did not upgrade the LNB.
We have a new HD tv at home with HD receiver. We also did not upgrade the Lnb at home. Works great, and only use the free HD channels. The bill is already high enough just to watch tv. Dona
