I called Shaw Direct a few weeks ago and the depressed sales rep said this was true when I called him. He said quote:
Their licence has not been renewed for Shaw to help any of their customers in the USA as of May 31/13. Therefore, they will not be able offer any support like they were in the past. He said this was very unfortunate but this is the information they had received from their head office. He said, unfortunately, if you are in the states, you are on your own.
If anyone doesn't believe me, call them yourself and report back.
