Expensive but Sling Box (could) be an alternative, requires good internet upload speeds at Canadian residence & good download speeds at south residence.
There will be more alternatives coming, Shaw & Bell could be distance options in the future. Could a US provider like Cox Cable, Comcast or Direct TV, etc. provide Canadian choice programming in the future....or are we so small an element that it would not be worth the effort?
I guess I should have said Canadian Satellite Service. Slingbox is an option but in my opinion not a great one at this time. Agree as things evolve other options will probably become available.
