Loved Ft. Lincoln SP in Mandan (Bismarck). Very nice park with history, as mentioned. Theodore Roosevelt National Park in Medora was worth driving through. We stayed in Dickinson, ND. Can't remember the name. I think the park in Medora was full. That would be easier as you're right there.
