North Dakota??
I can go anytime and plan on being in the state for 1-2 weeks. When would be the best time? Like wildlife, flowers, and short hikes.

In the Western section of North Dakota lies Roosevelt National Park. It is beautiful and bison roam the roads in the Park. Be sure to see it; I can't offer a suggestion where to camp.
