North Dakota??
I can go anytime and plan on being in the state for 1-2 weeks. When would be the best time? Like wildlife, flowers, and short hikes.

Mid to end of June is the best time to see ND. We spent a week in the Devils Lake area last year and found more than enough to keep us busy - Ft Totten, Sully Hill Game Preserve, a number of National Wildlife Refuges for hiking and birdwatching. Fishing on the lake. Grahams Island SP has a nice campground. We didn't stay there, just drove through.
