We have been to both places, and would pick Ocean City over Virginia Beach any day. Have never really seen the attraction of Va Beach, but that's just us. There is so much to do in OC, you also have the beauty of Assateaque Island. The weather at the end of June could be hit or miss. Should be warm by then, but the ocean temps will still be cold. We have stayed at Frontiertown (more suited for kids) or Castaways (more geared towards older crowds).
