Ohio Campground info

We are needing information on campgrounds in southwest Ohio. We have a reunion to attend in Mechanicsburg, with family in Springfield and Fairborn. We want to stay in the area for about 3 or 4 days and need a base. We have a 37' motor home and it looks like the state parks only take up to 35. (Parking pad is 31x10) also once we leave that area we will visit family in Batavia, east of Cincinnati. Probably will only need one night there. Any help you can give will be much appreciated. Going in mid-July.
Thanks,
Bill & Kathi
  • East Fork State Park is next to Batavia, so that will probably be your best bet for a one nighter.
  • Tomorrow's Stars, South Charleston, Ohio. Just off I 70. Check out the site on rvparkreviews.com
  • You have quite a few Oh St Parks in the areas you will be in to choose. Most may not be full hook ups but at least Elevtric and water. Buck Creek and Caesars Creek, Cowan Lake are near Fairborn and Springfield and Rocky Fork and Stonelick near Batavia. There are others also. Check out the OH Parks site for details.Ohio Parks have suffered from the Emeral Ash Bore tree removal but are still some of the best. All have some sites that will accomodate bigger rigs.
  • go to rvparkreviews.com and click on Ohio. It will show you where the campgrounds are in that area and you can read the reviews.
