Ohio to New Orleans to Texas to Grand Canyon etc

We are planning a trip from Ohio south to Memphis then to NO then through Tx to Grand Canyon to Las Vegas to Boulder and would like to travel mostly at leisure with stops at 6 hours for overnight may ...

Don't know what route - but if you are on I-55 south of Memphis (about an hour) the Corp of Engineer park - Wallace Creek or Persimmon Hill on Enid Lake is nice. If you have a senior pass, it's $8 or $9 night for water/50 amp electric. .
