Privately owned parks have a right to refuse service to anyone as long as they return the deposit, if one was made. They're aware of the bad rap their CG receives on this site or others when they allow a "beater" to park. If you have an older RV in excellent shape (say a nice 20 year old airstream), you won't be turned away. I doubt that any park owner can know the age of every RV made simply by looking at it. But when you pull up to the office, you can bet they're looking out the window and making a decision. The same as you do when you pull up to the office and look around at what's already parked.
I pulled into an RV park in Colorado once, walked into the office and was met by an intercom and a message to push the button for service. While I waited, I looked around. There were about 10 very used TTs in the large CG, but no people or cars. When the lady arrived from a house behind the office about 10 minutes later, I told her that I changed my mind and drove on down the road. It just didn't feel right.
Simple solution - when you fill out the registration for your 2000 model in a 10 year park, write down "2004". If you get caught, they don't take away your next birthday, you just don't get to stay. And they have a right to tell you that all those empty sites are already reserved, and return your deposit. Its all part of the "dance".
