Without a doubt, the apex of rv parks on the Oregon coast is Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort in Newport. Each large lot has a manicured lawn and concrete pads. The park has its own private access to the beach, inside and outside heated pools and spas, 2 immaculate laundry rooms, game room, exercise room, and a very large area to exercise your pet (on leash) or an smaller enclosed area for no leash. Lots can be overlooking the ocean, ocean view, or premium lots...all depending upon your likes and wallet.
Newport is home to one of the best aquariums in the nation, lots and lots of fine restaurants, miles of open beaches, and a working fishing port that is home to the west coast NOAA headquarters, has a Coast Guard attachments and lots and lots of fishing/crabbing boats. You can rent your own small boat for crabbing or fishing or take a charter for deep sea fishing.
