Hey Folks, headed to up state NY from Tidewater, VA in a couple of weeks and we're looking for a campground in PA close to I-81 to spend the night. Something in the Harrisonburg/Carlisle area.Any suggestions ?Thanks,Sam

Exit 90, just north of I78, you can see it from ok the end of the exit and easy in and out. I forgot the name.

We like to use GOOGLE MAPS on-line and put 'RV CAMPGROUND' in the search form. This shows the various camp grounds along the route you are looking at... Mouse click on the camp ground found for additional info. Some have reviews listed as well...If you select SAT VIEW you can zoom down on the campground and see its layout...Roy Ken

I don't think you will regret it, we stay there usually on our way home from Florida...it's come along way since they first converted to KOA and each year it gets better and better and it's a quick on and off.

You might also consider Caledonia State Park near Chambersburg, which is southwest of Carlisle. It's maybe 8-10 miles off Rte. 81, but worth a visit if you like state parks. It's a direct shot east on Rte. 30 right to the park. Very easy.

Western Village has pull thrus for over nighters. We usually stay at the Casino around exit 77 About 2 miles from 81.
