Dayton Tall Timbers KOA is just west of Dayton very close off of I-70. We've not camped there but have visited. Very clean and well maintained but just a little to close together for our taste but would be great for an overnight.
We stayed here (Tall Timbers) for a weekend last year. It's a nice place, close to the freeway, some freeway noise as a result, but nothin terrible.
If you can get a site away from the main office there is a little more space. The pull through spots are tight.
For a overnight stay though. I'd say this is a good bet. I posted a more complete write up here last year and on our personal blog at the link in my sig. - tatestExplorer III like to stay somewhere around Elkhart - Middlebury so that I can visit another factory or once again the RV Heritage museum. Middlebury KOA was adequate if traveling in a RV.
- BipeflierExplorerKOA at Casey, IL is OK. Nice folks run it. Only about 3/4 mile off of 70 on the north side.
