We are currently at Indian Waters; our third time here and this time for 6 weeks. I believe it is age restricted but not sure (not an issue with us!)
We have been down to Lake Cahuilla a few times to just wander around some and walk around the lake. It is a nice place; nothing fancy, but certainly adequate - it leans more to the campground end vs resort end.
Either would be just fine.
