Tootsiepie - I would stir clear of the couple of RV Campgrounds near the I65 South BLVD and East BLVD around Montgomery AL . Those once very nice sections of town have now turned into a big CRIME ZONE especially South Blvd with all of the old famous hotels and night club spots all boarded up now.
We stayed at the camp ground just across the street from the I65 truck Stop one time and went looking for a good meal up on the South Blvd. The local police pulled us over and asked that we go back to our camp ground and not be on the streets there after 10PM. It was just too dangerous...
This was just two years ago...
When we travel we always pull up GOOGLE MAPS and when it loads up then type RV PARKs in the search window. Lots of RV parks some with reviews... Click on the RV PARK for more information... If I have some time on my hands we love CHEAHA State park off of I20 between Birmingham and Atlanta. A great mountain site RV Place...
