Need a recommendation for an RV resort near Salem. Just a safe place with not too much traffic that I can use as a base. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Thanks to all for your help. We "checked in"here at Winter Island a couple of hours ago. My Garmin gave me a rather torturous route through the neighborhoods but this place will serve my purpose for a couple of days.
