If your wife is going to be admitted, you might check with the hospital to see if they have any sites for RVs. Many do.

I drive by Reche Canyon RV Park 5-6 days a week, Loma Linda Hospital is about 10-15 minutes away from it. You also have Royal Truck stop at Hunts Lane and Steel Road, which is about 2 miles away from the RV park.
I will tell you that Reche Canyon is a major road for Moreno Valley and San Bernardino, but does get quiet after the main rush hour in the morning and early evening.
