We've been trying to figure out whose dog bit our skunk. Our lawyer will be contacting you soon. :)
Upon cross-examination with your attorney, we realized it was YOUR skunk that bit OUR dog ... therefore, please send a check worth an 1100 mile drive with a skunk-dog.
That old saying "tomato juice works" must have originally been said by an RV salesman talking to a buyer.
I don't know why you cross-examined my lawyer. He wasn't even there. However, he did inform me that my skunk was justified in biting and spraying your dog. You see, the Michigan state-wide leash law applies to all dogs but not to skunks. The state Supreme Court has also ruled that standing your ground is valid justification for all forms of self-defense. So, your dog was in violation of the law, while my skunk was justifiably defending himself. If your dog was on a leash, it definitely wasn't short enough.
